Attended Laneige Dazzling Holiday Workshop

I'm glad that i have been selected as one of the 10 Lucky Facebookers to join the Laneige Dazzling Holiday Workshop yesterday in their office located at The Boulevard Office @ Mid Valley City.

So sweet that they have prepared some sushi for us. Anyway, i just took 2 pieces sushi as i ate some bread before i step-out from office.

After everyone are settled down, the beauty consultant/trainer request us to remove our own makeup and said she will teach us to apply a Korean makeup with Laneige products. Before that, she briefed us the background of Laneige and things that related to Korean trend. It is a fruitful lessons!

They gave us some wet cotton with their Deep Cleansing Oil Refresh which used to wipe off the make up and impurities. I want to add marks to the Laneige Speedy Lip & Eye Remover. It is mild and gentle. It can wipe off my mascara and waterproof eyeliner effectively within few seconds.

I feel refreshing and my skin is lighter and brighten after removed the makeup. Next, we apply their toner, emulsion and gel cream from fore head to neck area. My skin is supple, hydrated after the applications.

Before start to make up, we asked to understand our skin tone and choose the right products to even our skin tone. Their key make up base which used to even and correct skin tone as following:-

Make Up Primer Sebum Control
It is gel base to give the matte and fresh skin all day long. It create the sleek and even skin texture; Like a silk film on the skin that maintains our makeup longer. Suitable for oily and combination skin people to create the sleek skin tone by covering the skin flaws.

Skin Veil Base SPF 26 PA+
It is used to maintain hydrate skin texture. It is come with 3 colors which are Peach, Purple, and Green to helps to correct the skin tone. It comes with SPF 26, PA+ UV blocking function to protects our skin from daily UV rays in the outdoor environment.

I'm took the green color base to cover my redness and lighten the pimples areas. After everyone settled with their base, we start to apply the BB foundation.There are 2 type of BB foundation which are Snow BB Cream SPF41/PA++ and Snow BB Essence Balm SPF 33/PA++.

For those whose dry skin, they are recommended to use BB Balm which can moisture and give a natural coverage. Otherwise, people like me who has combination and pimples skin are advised to use BB Cream.
Firstly, i squeezed the appropriate amount of the bb cream on my palm and use brush to apply the entire face started with largest area on my face - cheek. Next, apply it carefully around the eye areas to make sure entire face applied with the cream equally. Do not tab too much else it will burden our eyes and the wrinkles will be seen obviously. After that, gently press the entire face this to allow the foundation stick better to our skin and look more natural. Lastly, get a brushes roll out the powder pact with appropriate amount of powder and then apply it all over the face quickly follow clock-wise direction. It will form a protective layer with light and fine particles for a clean and healthy makeup also for long lasting makeup.

The key for a Korean look is natural looking eyebrows & clean clear face. The shape for a Korean eyebrow is thick, straight. The trainer asked use to draw a liner below the eyebrow and fill-in the color from the root to end point slowly with eyebrow pencil. Blend it with the eyebrow brush to make it more natural.

When the eyebrows are shaped, we started using the Styling Romantic Eye Pallete for our eyeshadows. We have done two makeup - Day look and Night look.

I love both of the makeup and this is the most clean and elegant make up that i have made. I'm every satisfy with the makeup and i hope i'm able to draw it out again for tonight dinner. Thanks to Laneige Dazzling Holiday Workshop and looking forward for the next coming event.

How to Make Hair Grow On a Bald Spot

If you are balding or have thinning hair, then following these simple steps will help you to regrow new hair on those balding and thinning spots. It can also help people grow thicker, healthier hair as well.

Step 1

First, take your fingers and rub them all around your scalp, giving yourself a nice thorough head massage. Use deep circular motions and really get the blood circulating in your scalp. Getting blood circulation to the scalp activates the hair follicles, which is vital to growing hair and regrowing hair. It delivers oxygen to the follicle. Baldness actually occurs where the hair follicle has been basically suffocated.

Step 2

Next, do the same thing except you will now use a prong-style hairbrush to massage your scalp. This will really get your scalp's blood circulating. Use circular motions whenever possible.

Step 3

If you like you can buy a head massager, available at any healthy food store or online. I would add these to the steps, but I would not replace any of the steps with this one. Pretty soon your hair will be thicker and will start to grow where you never thought it would!

Scalp Movements

1. Remove your partners headband. Bring your hands up the side of the face to the forehead, then rake them through the hair. Repeat several times.
2. 'Glue' your fingers onto the scalp and move it around against the skull. Move your fingers to a different position and repeat this process until all the scalp has been covered.
3. Rub vigorously over the scalp, as if shampooing the hair.
4. Take little bunches of hair all over the scalp and tug gently. This feels lovely and really stimulates the scalp.
5. Repeat step 1 to finish off for 5 times.

The right way to wash your hair

I found this video at YouTube and i find it is very appropriate and with massage techniques before hair wash. You may do this hair scalp massage few times a day:-
1. In the morning, before brush your teeth
2. In the morning, Before shower
3. After shower and when hair is dry.
4. When you apply tonic or hair scalp serum
5. Before bed

Rinse your hair with Green Tea

 

Green tea works as a good conditioner for your locks, giving them a soft and smooth effect. For this, you need to add 2 teabags of green tea to 2 cups of boiling water and allow it to cool down. Once the tea has been cooled, remove the tea bags. Pour the tea through your hair and let it set for 3 minutes, before you rinse it off with cool water. You will have a faint green tea scent with a soft look.
